CMBA TRAVEL TEAM RULES

TIER 1
Interested players who were registered with CMBA for the 2009 season will tryout in the Fall (September) with a minimum of two tryouts. After the tryouts the Coach will choose a fifteen-person squad. The fifteen-person squad will take part in Indoor Workouts during the winter. The number and time is at the discretion of the Coach. In April, prior to the season starting, the fifteen-person squad plus any new registrants hold a Spring tryout (minimum of two tryouts). The Coach will then choose the twelve players, ten of whom must be from Cambridge or the Cambridge district (Ayr, North Dumfries Township and Glen Morris) and finalize his roster. The Coach may keep more than twelve players if he wishes.

**A special exception will be made for the Minor PeeWee Tier 1 team. This team each year has the right to attend a week-long tournament in Cooperstown N.Y.. Thus, in order to fund-raise over the Winter, this team will be selected in the Fall (either eleven or twelve players).

HOUSE LEAGUE PLAYERS who have not tried out in the Fall for Tier 1 MAY NOT tryout in the Spring.

Tier 2
PLEASE NOTE that all players released from spring and/or fall tryouts are eligible to attend Tier 2 tryouts if a Tier 2 team exists for their division. Any player wanting to play travel ball with a CUBS team must try out for the T1 team. Only after they are released from the T1 team can they try out for the T2 team. If you do not try out for T1 you are not eligible to try out for the T2 team.
